Terms and Conditions
1. Product
1.1 All goods are subject to availability.
1.2 Wood and leather are natural products and will vary in colour and texture from one item to another. Leather may not be uniform in colour or texture and may show natural marks and scars.
1.3 Leather , fabric and wood are likely to fade with exposure to direct sunlight.
2. Sizes
All dimensions are approximate. Every care is taken to ensure all measurements are correct, however there may be minor variations in dimensions to the finished goods.
3. Pricing
3.1 Prices are inclusive of VAT. All prices are subject to change at anytime.
3.2 Very occasionally a mistake may have occurred in entering prices onto our website. In this unlikely event we will contact you to ask whether you want to proceed at the correct price. The placing of an order is not binding on us until we have confirmed and acknowledged the order. We will not be obliged to supply products at incorrect prices, incorrect description or if an order is some way unacceptable to us.
4. Delivery / Returns
4.1 We will give you an estimated delivery time when your order is placed. Delivery is usually 6 – 12 weeks depending upon which manufacturer.
4.2 Our standard delivery charges are for England, Scotland and Wales. Other destinations will be quoted on an individual basis.
4.3 Any dates given for delivery are approximate and we shall not accept any liability for consequential loss, costs, damage, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivery of your furniture. We would not recommend that a customer disposes of their original furniture , bed, etc until the new furniture has arrived.
4.4 Our delivery service is by a two man team, who will unwrap and dispose of the packing of your assembled furniture. For furniture requiring assembly ie. Bedsteads we offer an assembly service for £25.
4.5 We regret customers will have to pay congestion charges where applicable.
4.6 Please advise us of any parking restrictions as our delivery teams cannot carry heavy items over long distances, as they are obliged to adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and are entitled not to take your furniture to its intended location if they feel it would breach these regulations.
4.7 Upon delivery you will be asked to check your furniture has arrived in good condition and sign the delivery note confirming this. If for some reason they are not please clearly write the details of the damage on the delivery note and contact us immediately.
4.8 If we are unable to complete a delivery due to inadequate access we reserve the right to charge for the furniture and any delivery costs in full.
4.9 If for any reason you are not happy with your furniture please notify us within 7 days and we will arrange collection and refund excluding delivery charges. An exception to this rule is when the furniture has been made bespoke to your requirements, ie. When you choose finish, fabric , leather colour, handles, mattress tension, etc
5. Cancellations
5.1 You have the right to cancel your order before delivery for stock items.
5.2 Please note the right to cancel does not apply to orders that have been specifically made to your requirements, essentially bespoke ie. you have chosen the finish, fabric , leather colour, handles, mattress tension etc.
6. Payment
6.1 All orders require a 20% deposit and the balance paid prior to delivery. The balance will be asked for upon arranging delivery.
6.2 We will not deliver until full payment has been received.
7. Guarantee
7.1 All furniture is guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, neglect or misuse.
7.2 We reserve the right to inspect the item before agreeing to a refund or replacement.
